Ryan & Natalie, The Villa, Wrea Green Wedding Video

This is Ryan and Natalie’s wedding story.

Their chosen venue was The Villa Wrea Green, set among rolling parkland and the wonderful surroundings of a Lancashire village this country retreat offers beautiful public space and luxury bedrooms for the most wonderful occasions, including the Pavilion Marquee. The Pavilion is a beautifully dressed function suite with star canopies and mood lighting which sets the atmosphere for many occasions. It was perfect for Ryan and Natalies big day, from a peaceful and tranquil afternoon wedding breakfast to a dance floor and party atmosphere in the evening is just what any bride and groom would want on their wedding day.

Ryan and Natalie had booked the amazing Elizabeth Hendry (from the live piano experience) to be their pianist, she played beautifully as the stunning bride Natalie made her entry. Being a disney themed wedding the sound of tale as old as time brought one or two tears of happiness as she made her entrance. Elizabeth also played a brilliant set during the the wedding breakfast which created a lovely atmosphere while the guests enjoyed their a la carte meal.

Kieran and Ali a husband and wife duo from Key Photography Wigan were Ryan and Natalies photographers, Kieran as the lead photographer and is described by his clients as approachable, entertaining, funny and talented. The duo offers years of experience and are definite to get the professional and creative wedding pictures that show the powerful memories and emotions from your special day.

There were some very special touches to the decoration of Ryan and Natalie’s wedding, Natalie’s grandmother designed and created the elegant 3 tier wedding cake and delicately hand made the bridesmaids and flower girl dresses, all to match the specially chosen wedding colour. As i mentioned earlier Ryan and Natalie also chose to have disney features at the wedding and aswell as having popular disney films as table names Natalie herself had created the beauty and the beast rose which took pride of place at the side of the their wedding cake. They also created a table for the guests to take a bag of treats home for their beloved fur babies, Ryan and Natalie have a beautiful doggie at home which i’m sure like a lot of other dog owners is treated like a member of the family and not just a dog. They had a stunning photograph which was taken during their pre-wedding shoot displayed on a huge collage which the the evening guests could sign around the outside. This was a brilliantly unique memory maker which i don’t often see but is such a thoughtful and wonderful idea.

The evening reception had plenty of entertainment for everyone to enjoy, The Villa’s resident DJ started the night with the conga around the Pavilion, getting all the guests in high spirits ready for the fabulous evening ahead. The Boothtube wasn’t only great fun for the guests but a great momento for Ryan and Natalie, a photo was given to the guests as well as a duplicate displayed in a memory book along with a little message for the bride and groom. The Heavenly Melted Chocolate company are a unique service that offers delicious belgium chocolate with plenty of fresh produce for dipping, we tried it and have one word, YUM! This company is truly unique as it is the only fully serving chocolate fountain company in the uk, they are there for the duration of the hire to restock and serve your guests throughout your evening celebrations.

So just as it should be Ryan and Natalie were smiling from ear to ear from the start of the day till we left them dancing the evening away. Its great to know that all their hard work paid off and they got the fairytale wedding they had dreamed of over the last 11 years of being together. We had so much fun filming and editing the fun-filled events of the day and turning it into their cherished film of a lifetime so no memories are lost in the coming years of happiness they spend as husband and wife.

Congratulations Ryan and Natalie and thank you for choosing Appleyard Productions to capture your day, it was a pleasure.

Liam & Amy, Shooters Hill Hall, Clive Wedding Video

They did it! Heres a little read on the marriage of Liam and Amy at Shooters Hill Hall on August 4th 2018.

Blue skies with the sun beaming down, Amy and the bridal party excitedly getting ready in the wedding house with the help of the very talented make-up artist Kate Lambie. Set in the heart of Shropshire and surround by acres of beautiful grounds, Shooters Hill Hall was built in 1822 as a country retreat and earned its name ‘the wedding house’ by the children from many wedding parties over the years. Although the venue has been beautifully refurbished it still has a lot of the original features remaining which allows the character and background of the building to shine though. It is enjoyed by the guests for its many gardens, lawns, terraces, paddocks and woodlands an has uninterrupted view of over 40 miles taking you right up to the Berwyn Mountains.

A traditional vintage wedding car took the bridal party to St Peter and Pauls Church in Wem where the couple said their vows, it was then back to Shooters for the reception where a lovely wedding breakfast was provided by Cheryl Jane Catering. This was inside the Garden Room Marquee which was decorated to perfection by Jasmine Floral Fancies including the cake flowers for the wedding cake created by Crumbs Cakery.

There is always a particular part of the day where myself and the photographer get to take the new couple off to explore the grounds and get those one to one shots that form a main part of the film. We love being creative here and finding unique and quirky angles which create that special and emotional moment when our couples watch back their film. Johanna Steward was the photographer for Liam and Amy and i can’t recommend her enough, a fun person full of life and experience and i enjoyed teaming up with her during the day. Liam and Amy took their time here together amazingly, dancing, walking, twirling in the beautiful sunshine allowed us to be playful with the camera and capture some unique moments thats tell their love storey perfectly.

Joe Seager did a brilliant job entertaining during the evening reception, having been performing live for over 15 years Joe offers years of experience and a variety of different songs to suit any couples requirements. Also as a talented songwriter and guitar player he offers the chance to record and perform more personal songs that are created for that one special day. The guests at Liam and Amy’s wedding had a fantastic time singing and dancing while Joe performed his set, along with a bite to eat from the scrumptious Hog Roast by Castlemoore Farm Roast, what a great way to finish off what was a stunning wedding day.

Matthew & Sophie, Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Video

Standing on the living room coffee table pretending to be a Disney princess singing some day my prince will come, then several years later prince Matthew appeared and you could tell they were just made for each other, and Sophie truly looked like a princess on their wedding day at Rivington Hall Barn 3rd August 2018.

Rivington Hall Barn, a venue with magnificent spacial interior full of character and charm, its packed with original features such as its huge saxon beams which gives the wow factor that every couple wants on their wedding day. It is also located in the countryside surrounded by fields and woodlands which provides endless opportunities for those one to one shots of the new bride and groom. Niki Mills Photography and ourselves had an awesome experience here working with Matthew and Sophie in this picturesque location.

The couple actually married at St Benedicts Church in Hindley and Sophie arrived in a quirky Voltswagon Campervan, supplied by Love Bus Company, kitted out in perfect style to transport her and the bridal party. RM Buses provided a vintage red double decker for guests to enjoy a journey from the church to the reception whilst Matthew and Sophie travelled together in the Campervan. Sophie looked stunning in her lace Pronovias dress supplied by Brides of Liverpool and not forgetting the smart suits for Matthew and the groomsmen by Moss Bros.

Matthew and Sophie chose some brilliant entertainers for their evening reception, DFC entertainment is based in Lancashire and is an award winning entertainment company with a team of fantastic djs, musicians, bands and wedding hosts to assure your wedding day is the best it can be with those cherishable memories. Girl on sax was fabulous entertainment for the wedding breakfast leading in the bride and groom with her professional and extensive repertoire that was tailored for Matthew and Sophies special day and performed on her light up saxophone.

Matthew and Sophie we want to thank you for choosing Appleyard Productions to capture your truly amazing day and we hope you enjoy your films as much as we enjoyed filming and editing them together for you both, congratulations.

Adam & Katie, San Marino Restaurant, Belmont Wedding Video

Adam and Katie married at San Marino Restaurant in Belmont, everybody certainly felt the love, laughter and party. Congratulations to you both your day was rocking!

The rain didn’t dull this couples sparkle, the bridal party and groomsmen travelled in party limos to St Peters church in Belmont. Katie, in her gorgeous laced fishtail dress brought the sunshine through the clouds as she entered the church. Followed by an extra special pet guest the bridesmaids created the entrance for the beautiful bride and after a lovely ceremony the new couple took the trip to their exclusively chosen venue in a stunning horse drawn carriage.

Packed with style and beauty Adam and Katie's wedding was truly unique, transforming the elegant San Marino Restaurant into their very own private wedding function. Coming up to their 15th year anniversary the San Marino Restaurant, born in 2002, has recently taken a fresh new modern look giving guests a refreshing feel to this venue which is set in some beautiful countryside.

The party vibe of Adam and Katie’s day continued right through the day, the evening consisted of an oasis tribute band that got everyone up on their feet, even Adam the groom grabbed the microphone for a special number and just fitted in as one of the band. You could tell everybody was enjoying every second of the party and truly celebrated Adam and Katie’s day just how they imagined and gave them a day to remember.

Michael & Gaynor, Eaves Hall Wedding Video

Wow where to begin writing about this emotional and beautiful day...

Michael and Gaynor your wedding was stunning from start to finish and what an honour we had capturing and piecing together your film so it’s as perfect as the day itself.

As Michael explained in his speech the newly weds didn’t grow up or had no ties to the Clitheroe area, however they fell in love with the prestige wedding venue that is Eaves Hall. Set in the Ribble Valley countryside with a glorious exterior and upgraded interior it is one of the finest wedding venues in the northwest. The couple were so appreciative that all their friends and family travelled the distance to share their special day at their perfectly chosen venue.

Teresa C Photography was the chosen photographer for Michael and Gaynor’s wedding and what a brilliant team they were to work with. We captured some natural and creative shots exploring the 13 acres of gardens in their first few moments of husband and wife.

Once again The Rose Boutique did a fabulous job with decoration making the venue even more beautiful and personal for Michael and Gaynor’s day. The hanging tealight centre pieces added an extra special touch to the wedding breakfast set up.

The couple didn’t go lightly on entertainment, starting with the Magical Sam Fitton who got all the guests gasping with amazement during the drinks reception, and continued to fascinate the guests with his incredible skills into the evening. Girl On Sax an award-winning international saxophonist and DFC Entertainment with their vast experience of music, presenting skills and customer service, they are able to continue the party going late into the night.

So Michael and Gaynor we hope you enjoyed your wedding day, it certainly looked like you did. We hope you love watching your film and it brings back the best memories of your best day ever. Congratulations to you both!

Greg & Sophie, Combermere Abbey Wedding Video

Short Film (Feature film at the end)

When fun loving couple Greg and Sophie tied the knot on May 26th 2018 the sun was shining and the day started perfectly. At her parents house Sophie and the bridal party shared lots of smiles, giggles and stories whilst preparing for the best day of her life. Dressed in a laced top bridal gown and flowers in her hair Sophie was ready to ride in a traditional vintage wedding car along with her father. They became the new Mr and Mrs at Ightfield church Whitchurch.

The reception venue was at the prestige Combermere Abbey Estate, sat upon thousands of years of history this venue offers gardens, woodlands and a beautiful glasshouse to set the scene for your dream fairytale wedding. Working closely along side the brilliant Doug Krier photographer I discreetly followed the new bride and groom to explore the venue and captured some footage showing off Greg and Sophie’s quirky and fun personalities, by this I mean bursting into dance during their photo shoot, just brilliant to see such life and laughter between them.

After the delicious wedding breakfast guests retired outside to enjoy the stunning grounds, they enjoyed a game of croquet or two before continuing the party long into the evening. Mise En Scene Floral supplied props, the letters and flower wall to add to the guests enjoyment.

Some very talented entertainers joined us throughout the day, these included the beautiful glass house Music Adaigo Strings who played during the reception and the fantastic Hot Jazz Biscuits who kept the party rocking into the evening.

Congratulations Greg and Sophie what a day to remember!

Jack & Kelly, The Inn At White Well Wedding Video

Feature Film

A dream wedding for a dream couple!

Meeting 6 years ago in Preston’s resident rock club Jack described the moment as something out of the movies. So line up the tequilas this was a day to remember!

The ceremony was held at St Thomas' Church in Lytham and bride Kelly made her beautiful entrance to the church arriving in a prestige Rolls Royce. A thoughtful touch for the wedding guests after the ceremony that we don’t see often was an ice cream cart serving the famous Bonds ice cream, a fabulous idea. After leaving the church the guests could cool off and enjoy a cone or two before heading to the Inn at Whitewell for the reception.

Before heading over to the reception venue we took a stroll along Lytham front with the new Mr and Mrs, the weather was perfect and what a brilliant way for them to spend some quality time together on their special day, not realising I was capturing some natural and beautiful shots which were perfect for telling their story.

The fun didn’t stop there getting the groomsmen to balance across 20 little stepping stones which spread across the stream was an eventful moment, we really wasn’t waiting for one to slip in, honest! The things we do to capture the interesting moments throughout the day, but such fun we all had doing so, after all it is a day to remember.

You know a day has been the best when you cant move on the dance floor, the party continued and the smiles on everybody’s faces said it all, to see the hard work that Jack and Kelly have done over the last 12m turn into a day they will never forget,  and it is such a privilege to put that into a film they can watch over and over again. Thankyou Jack and Kelly and Congratulations.

So take a shot they tied the knot!

Will & Roberta, Combermere Abbey Wedding Video

Short Film (Feature at the bottom)

Where to begin for this fabulous couple, Will and Roberta your day excelled in beauty, love and happiness. Capturing those precious memories was a pleasure and such enjoyment it was creating your film.

Watching Roberta open her gift off Will during bridal prep was priceless, a special gift she can treasure forever which Will had carefully matched to the wedding jewellery and also had deep sentimental meaning. What a great start to the day, even though Roberta had to have round 2 with the makeup artist due to a few emotional moments.

‘Every time you walk in the room you make my heart jump the same as it did as you walked down the isle today’ beautifully spoken words from the groom to his new wife expressing his feelings as he set eyes on Roberta just before they said their vows during a beautiful service at St Helens Church, Tarporley.

Meeting at university Will told us about the first days they met and how a wedding is a perfect excuse for a cliche moment. ‘Hand on heart I can honestly say it couldn’t of been further from love at first sight’ what a perfect time to share these feelings in front of friends and family that mean so much to them both, and it’s brilliant to have such a story to lead their forever cherishing film.

Will and Roberta chose the fabulous Cheshire based venue that is Combermere Abbey for their reception, this magnificent venue was taken over by Lady Sarah Callander Beckett in 1992 where she began the extensive renovation. This included the stable block which was transformed into luxury cottages allowing accommodation for brides, grooms and their guests when booking this prestigious estate. This complements the 1000 acres of breathtaking walled gardens, parkland and woodland areas, and combermere is a great example of a perfect place of which to capture the bride and groom spending their first moments as husband and wife.

Will and Roberta picked the popular Doug Krier Photography, it’s great to have such a fantastic photographer to work along side. Our filming is discreet we like to surprise our couples with shots we capture and working with an experienced photographer compliments our filming perfectly.

Weddings need decorations and flowers and what a stunning job The Little Potting Shed did. They dressed the stretch marquee with such elegance for the new Mr and Mrs along with their guests to enjoy the wedding breakfast together, with delicious food provided by Pickled Walnut.

Bloomsbury Music kept everyone entertained right throughout the day. Starting with an amazing choir during the church service to an acoustic session on the lawn whilst the guests were enjoying a game of rounders in the sunshine, followed by a brilliant band playing late into the evening. If your looking for all round entertainment during the whole day then Bloomsbury music are your guys.

Such organisation made Will and Roberta’s wedding day run so smooth and I was able to capture the special moments of which I could design the film around them. A film in which they can watch over and over again and never get bored, a film of which they can show to their own Jackson 5 and theirs after that. A forever cherished film that will relive the fantastic day of June 2nd 2018, Will and Roberta wedding day!

CONGRATULATIONS to you both!

Jack & Danielle, The Mere Golf Resort & Spa Wedding Video

What a fantastic day for Jack and Danielle to say I DO in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. The Mere Golf and Spa was where they chose to celebrate their special day as this beautiful and elegant hotel offers everything you need for a day to remember.

Our day began in the bridal suite overlooking the mere with the birds tweeting on a glorious morning. A relaxed atmosphere whilst Danielle and the bridal party had makeup from the fabulous Emily Simpson, before putting on her delicately laced (bespoke wedding boutique) dress.

Arriving in style under the red-bricked victorian archway appeared a white Rolls Royce where Danielle and her father drove into the championship golf course surrounding this beautiful venue. (BK Executive Cars)

What a fabulous setting to capture the couples 1st few moments as husband and wife, walking the countryside and capturing natural emotions alongside (Lesley and Shaun Meredith Photography

The wedding breakfast had a special kind of entertainment, whilst the guests were enjoying their meal the singing waiters appeared and had everybody waving the napkins and singing along in the celebration.

The entertainment didn’t stop there, Jack and Danielle had carefully picked out plenty of tasty treats such as a donut wall, prosecco cart, vodka ice sculpture and candy cart for the evening guests enjoyment, I left watching everybody party the night away with the talented Band and DJ (Scott Welsby Entertainment)

Tom & Lucy, Statham Lodge Wedding Video

Short Film (scroll to the bottom for the feature)

Well Tom and Lucy what can I say... stunning couple, stunning day, stunning wedding.

On the misty morning of may 12th 2018 I joined bride Lucy at her home in Cheshire for the bridal prep, such a lovely morning with coffee, croissants and a cheeky glass of champagne to calm the nerves. Tom had put together the sweetest gift for Lucy ‘10 reasons I can’t wait to marry you’ what a pleasure listening to her read out the love they have for each other and capturing her beaming smile as she read ‘coming home to you is the best part of the day’

St Thomas’ church Stockton Heath was where they became Mr and Mrs , a stunning service and I was lucky enough to share and capture those special memories as well as working alongside a fantastic duo Jo and Nikki (Kelly Cotter Photography)

The new Mr and Mrs Norris continued their day by travelling in a vintage wedding car to Statham Lodge in Lymm. A classic georgian Manor House surrounded by acres of beautiful grounds. The weather was definitely on our side which was perfect for the canapés and drinks reception outside, allowing the guests to celebrate with the newly weds whilst enjoying the sunshine and stunning grounds of the venue.

The party continued throughout the evening and I was able to grab the couple for some alone time walking the gardens in the sunset, capturing natural and special time in their 1st few hours as husband and wife, finishing under the stars concluding a fabulous day of Tom and Lucy’s ‘wedding of the year’
