Greg & Sophie, Combermere Abbey Wedding Video

Short Film (Feature film at the end)

When fun loving couple Greg and Sophie tied the knot on May 26th 2018 the sun was shining and the day started perfectly. At her parents house Sophie and the bridal party shared lots of smiles, giggles and stories whilst preparing for the best day of her life. Dressed in a laced top bridal gown and flowers in her hair Sophie was ready to ride in a traditional vintage wedding car along with her father. They became the new Mr and Mrs at Ightfield church Whitchurch.

The reception venue was at the prestige Combermere Abbey Estate, sat upon thousands of years of history this venue offers gardens, woodlands and a beautiful glasshouse to set the scene for your dream fairytale wedding. Working closely along side the brilliant Doug Krier photographer I discreetly followed the new bride and groom to explore the venue and captured some footage showing off Greg and Sophie’s quirky and fun personalities, by this I mean bursting into dance during their photo shoot, just brilliant to see such life and laughter between them.

After the delicious wedding breakfast guests retired outside to enjoy the stunning grounds, they enjoyed a game of croquet or two before continuing the party long into the evening. Mise En Scene Floral supplied props, the letters and flower wall to add to the guests enjoyment.

Some very talented entertainers joined us throughout the day, these included the beautiful glass house Music Adaigo Strings who played during the reception and the fantastic Hot Jazz Biscuits who kept the party rocking into the evening.

Congratulations Greg and Sophie what a day to remember!

Jack & Kelly, The Inn At White Well Wedding Video

Feature Film

A dream wedding for a dream couple!

Meeting 6 years ago in Preston’s resident rock club Jack described the moment as something out of the movies. So line up the tequilas this was a day to remember!

The ceremony was held at St Thomas' Church in Lytham and bride Kelly made her beautiful entrance to the church arriving in a prestige Rolls Royce. A thoughtful touch for the wedding guests after the ceremony that we don’t see often was an ice cream cart serving the famous Bonds ice cream, a fabulous idea. After leaving the church the guests could cool off and enjoy a cone or two before heading to the Inn at Whitewell for the reception.

Before heading over to the reception venue we took a stroll along Lytham front with the new Mr and Mrs, the weather was perfect and what a brilliant way for them to spend some quality time together on their special day, not realising I was capturing some natural and beautiful shots which were perfect for telling their story.

The fun didn’t stop there getting the groomsmen to balance across 20 little stepping stones which spread across the stream was an eventful moment, we really wasn’t waiting for one to slip in, honest! The things we do to capture the interesting moments throughout the day, but such fun we all had doing so, after all it is a day to remember.

You know a day has been the best when you cant move on the dance floor, the party continued and the smiles on everybody’s faces said it all, to see the hard work that Jack and Kelly have done over the last 12m turn into a day they will never forget,  and it is such a privilege to put that into a film they can watch over and over again. Thankyou Jack and Kelly and Congratulations.

So take a shot they tied the knot!

Will & Roberta, Combermere Abbey Wedding Video

Short Film (Feature at the bottom)

Where to begin for this fabulous couple, Will and Roberta your day excelled in beauty, love and happiness. Capturing those precious memories was a pleasure and such enjoyment it was creating your film.

Watching Roberta open her gift off Will during bridal prep was priceless, a special gift she can treasure forever which Will had carefully matched to the wedding jewellery and also had deep sentimental meaning. What a great start to the day, even though Roberta had to have round 2 with the makeup artist due to a few emotional moments.

‘Every time you walk in the room you make my heart jump the same as it did as you walked down the isle today’ beautifully spoken words from the groom to his new wife expressing his feelings as he set eyes on Roberta just before they said their vows during a beautiful service at St Helens Church, Tarporley.

Meeting at university Will told us about the first days they met and how a wedding is a perfect excuse for a cliche moment. ‘Hand on heart I can honestly say it couldn’t of been further from love at first sight’ what a perfect time to share these feelings in front of friends and family that mean so much to them both, and it’s brilliant to have such a story to lead their forever cherishing film.

Will and Roberta chose the fabulous Cheshire based venue that is Combermere Abbey for their reception, this magnificent venue was taken over by Lady Sarah Callander Beckett in 1992 where she began the extensive renovation. This included the stable block which was transformed into luxury cottages allowing accommodation for brides, grooms and their guests when booking this prestigious estate. This complements the 1000 acres of breathtaking walled gardens, parkland and woodland areas, and combermere is a great example of a perfect place of which to capture the bride and groom spending their first moments as husband and wife.

Will and Roberta picked the popular Doug Krier Photography, it’s great to have such a fantastic photographer to work along side. Our filming is discreet we like to surprise our couples with shots we capture and working with an experienced photographer compliments our filming perfectly.

Weddings need decorations and flowers and what a stunning job The Little Potting Shed did. They dressed the stretch marquee with such elegance for the new Mr and Mrs along with their guests to enjoy the wedding breakfast together, with delicious food provided by Pickled Walnut.

Bloomsbury Music kept everyone entertained right throughout the day. Starting with an amazing choir during the church service to an acoustic session on the lawn whilst the guests were enjoying a game of rounders in the sunshine, followed by a brilliant band playing late into the evening. If your looking for all round entertainment during the whole day then Bloomsbury music are your guys.

Such organisation made Will and Roberta’s wedding day run so smooth and I was able to capture the special moments of which I could design the film around them. A film in which they can watch over and over again and never get bored, a film of which they can show to their own Jackson 5 and theirs after that. A forever cherished film that will relive the fantastic day of June 2nd 2018, Will and Roberta wedding day!

CONGRATULATIONS to you both!

Jack & Danielle, The Mere Golf Resort & Spa Wedding Video

What a fantastic day for Jack and Danielle to say I DO in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. The Mere Golf and Spa was where they chose to celebrate their special day as this beautiful and elegant hotel offers everything you need for a day to remember.

Our day began in the bridal suite overlooking the mere with the birds tweeting on a glorious morning. A relaxed atmosphere whilst Danielle and the bridal party had makeup from the fabulous Emily Simpson, before putting on her delicately laced (bespoke wedding boutique) dress.

Arriving in style under the red-bricked victorian archway appeared a white Rolls Royce where Danielle and her father drove into the championship golf course surrounding this beautiful venue. (BK Executive Cars)

What a fabulous setting to capture the couples 1st few moments as husband and wife, walking the countryside and capturing natural emotions alongside (Lesley and Shaun Meredith Photography

The wedding breakfast had a special kind of entertainment, whilst the guests were enjoying their meal the singing waiters appeared and had everybody waving the napkins and singing along in the celebration.

The entertainment didn’t stop there, Jack and Danielle had carefully picked out plenty of tasty treats such as a donut wall, prosecco cart, vodka ice sculpture and candy cart for the evening guests enjoyment, I left watching everybody party the night away with the talented Band and DJ (Scott Welsby Entertainment)

Tom & Lucy, Statham Lodge Wedding Video

Short Film (scroll to the bottom for the feature)

Well Tom and Lucy what can I say... stunning couple, stunning day, stunning wedding.

On the misty morning of may 12th 2018 I joined bride Lucy at her home in Cheshire for the bridal prep, such a lovely morning with coffee, croissants and a cheeky glass of champagne to calm the nerves. Tom had put together the sweetest gift for Lucy ‘10 reasons I can’t wait to marry you’ what a pleasure listening to her read out the love they have for each other and capturing her beaming smile as she read ‘coming home to you is the best part of the day’

St Thomas’ church Stockton Heath was where they became Mr and Mrs , a stunning service and I was lucky enough to share and capture those special memories as well as working alongside a fantastic duo Jo and Nikki (Kelly Cotter Photography)

The new Mr and Mrs Norris continued their day by travelling in a vintage wedding car to Statham Lodge in Lymm. A classic georgian Manor House surrounded by acres of beautiful grounds. The weather was definitely on our side which was perfect for the canapés and drinks reception outside, allowing the guests to celebrate with the newly weds whilst enjoying the sunshine and stunning grounds of the venue.

The party continued throughout the evening and I was able to grab the couple for some alone time walking the gardens in the sunset, capturing natural and special time in their 1st few hours as husband and wife, finishing under the stars concluding a fabulous day of Tom and Lucy’s ‘wedding of the year’

Jonathan & Sarah, Ashton Memorial Wedding Video

Jonathan and Sarah married 29th March 2018 CONGRATULATIONS...

Proposal...Sarah didn’t make it easy

Meeting at Lancaster University Canoe Club Jonathan had big plans for the special moment, however, things didn’t quite go to plan for him. Arranging a canoe trip to Lake Windermere where Sarah would be greeted with a champagne picnic and 1 special question, the weather said otherwise and Sarah refused to go along. So Jonathan tried again with a romantic spot he had found by the canal, but they didn’t quite reach the spot before getting tired, so one Wednesday evening after the British bake off Jonathan thought why not and was ring in hand as she walked into the room. That was it the planning commenced.

Modern couple... Tell me more!

From a first date at KFC (splitting the bill as a modern couple) to a stunning wedding at Ashton Memorial, this beautiful couple picked a venue close to their hearts in Lancaster. Ashton Memorial is a newly renovated Edwardian Folly in Williamson Park, it hosts breathtaking views of its gardens, the Fylde Coast and Lake District. Surrounding by their friends and family Jonathan and Sarah tied the knot, it was great fun filming and capturing the special moments for them to cherish forever along with the talented ER Photography

Even the cups were PERSONALISED...

Jonathan and Sarah had carefully designed their wedding and personalised every moment. It was beautiful to see their special touches throughout the whole day. Cups, plates, cutlery was picked and bought by themselves and what a gorgeous wedding breakfast they shared, afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones YUMMY. Even the beautiful 3 tier wedding cake was made by a family member and what a tremendous job they did. The couple chose to spend their evening reception at the Garstang Country Hotel set on the banks of the River Wyre and Forest of Bowland. The venue showcased spectacular views of the surrounding golf course and it’s natural beauty and architecture.

What goes into your wedding video?

Welcome to our first blog!

So have you ever wondered why wedding videos vary in price and what goes into them? You really want one but you can't justify paying the price? Below are just a few things to think about what goes into your video package.

Time is a big thing when it comes to your wedding video. A days filming is only a segment of what you are paying for. The main time is spent in the edit suite. We give you a delivery time frame to deliver your edit to give us the flexibility to finalize your edit to the best we can rather than a production line process. We limit the number of weddings we take on every year allowing us to prepare and spend quality time on every project we take on.

There are a bundle of things that go on behind the scenes including finding the right music, Importing, exporting and archiving your projects, DVD creating and burning, business marketing, leasing with clients and planning up to each wedding.

We can spend hours picking the right song for your video. Our approach to your videos is to license all music used. This gives you the freedom to share your highlight videos online with your friends and family without breaking any copyright law. Using 'royalty free' music also adds that unique touch to your video rather than going down the mainstream music route where you may find the songs will feel dated after a few months/years.

We like to keep our video styles up to date and fresh. Kit can be a big part of this! We do a lot of research looking out for different filming styles and ways to increase your video quality. New products are coming on the market all the time improving ways to achieve this, but as you’re aware video equipment comes at a cost. We also like to change our cameras regularly, the last thing we want is to use a worn out camera that breaks during your ceremony, missing the key moments! Fingers crossed we haven't had this yet but we cannot guarantee kit doesn't break but we do our best to look after and prevent it!

Business Marketing - As you know all businesses have to market themselves somehow whether it would be on Facebook, Google adverts or exhibiting at fairs. Without this you never would have found us!

When you book multiple operators for your video you can increase the quality & coverage of your day but it means you will be paying for a 2nd operator. We only have professional freelance operators on our books that we trust and have the same style of filming. Having a 2nd operator also means we can be in 2 places at once which is perfect if you are after the bride & groom preparations in the morning!

I (Stuart) manage all the weddings we take on and I am the main points of contact from the word go to the delivery of your DVD’s. I direct & operate on the day and take pride in having the privilege of filming your day. Some companies are known to hire anyone with a camera to film your day but with us you have that piece of mind that im the person on the other end of the phone!

So make sure you do your research. Wedding video prices can start as little as £499 but make sure you know what you are getting and view examples of what your final video will look like.

Your wedding day only happens once, missing that special moment could be priceless!
