Frequently Asked Questions
Can you recommend any photographers?
We work with many photographers on a regular basis and can forward on details for our favourites but there really is no rule here. As long as the photographer is aware that there is a videographer on the day.
How many videographers will be at my wedding?
Stuart is your main camera operator for the day unless otherwise stated. If you have booked a 2nd operator then this person will be around to work alongside Stuart.
Whats your approach to the day?
We have a very informal approach on your wedding day. We aim to be discreet and non obtrusive, we are there and obviously cant be invisible but we prefer you to enjoy your day and to let us capture that naturally. We use DSLR cameras, small tripods & monopods.
Will your video style fit with our wedding?
Its important that you watch examples of our work and like the style of our edits.
Do you have backup kit?
We bring multiple cameras, batteries, cards, microphones and accessories on the wedding day so if something does fail on the wedding day in most cases we have an alternative backup.
What happens if your ill or can not make it on the day?
I have never had to resort to this yet but we all have to have a backup plan. If we are unable to attend your wedding day we have a large community of videographers that we can reach out to try and find a replacement operator on the day (the project & edit would still be managed by myself when possible) in the worst case scenario and no operator is available then a full refund would be given.
How do we book?
To make a booking lets have a chat and talk through your day or you can simply fill out the form above.
You would then receive an email to your quote. To confirm a booking you would need to complete these booking forms, contract along with the £200 (non refundable) booking fee.
Can we meet before the day?
Yes of course i’m always looking for an excuse to go for a coffee. All my meetings are based in Warrington, if your further afield or a meeting is not possible then a video/phone call can be arranged.
Can we choose our own music?
All our films have a cinematic underscore that we choose, we are very careful with our selection to find tracks that fit in with your wedding day. We source and purchase the copyright to the music we use and do not use and commercial music into our edits.
Could we add on extras at a later date?
Most extras can be added on up to 14 days before your wedding day, just drop me an email with your requirements.
Do you film church weddings?
Yes of course. A lot of our clients get married in a church. We do advise that you check with your venues that filming of the ceremony is allowed and if there are any restrictions.
What details do you need from us?
We send out an online questionnaire that we ask you to fill out roughly 30days before your wedding day to help us plan the day.
How long after my wedding would I receive my film?
A lot of creativity goes into your edit and can take time to piece your day together. I advise that your edits can take up to 10weeks from your wedding day.
